Here’s How It Works
As our skin ages, it begins to weaken and lose flexibility and strength. Eventually, it becomes unable to bear the load it was originally designed to support. Over time, it will eventually buckle, sag, and collapse. The skin thins out and the production of collagen slows down dramatically leading to lines, wrinkles, and laxity. The Plasma Pen is designed entirely to repair, reverse, and mitigate the aforementioned conditions by using state-of-the-art nitrogen plasma technology. By transferring nitrogen plasma energy to the top layer of skin while simultaneously heating and disrupting the deep skin layer, we are able to significantly tighten, lift, resurface, rejuvenate, and regenerate practically any area. Treatment Day
Your Plasma Pen procedure begins with a consultation to establish your goals and to see if the Plasma Pen is the right fit for you. Numbing cream is applied to the area to minimize any discomfort while treating the area. A homecare package consisting of a moisturizer and SPF are given to each patient along with easy instructions for post procedural homecare. After your procedure, you will eventually notice small crusts that will form on the treated area that last for about 3-7 days (see photo). These small crusts will eventually fall off leaving increased collagen, contraction, significant lift, and improved skin texture.
